6 YEAR VETERAN JEREMY MYLYMOK
IS IT TIME TO HANG UP THE SKATES???
Jeremy Mylymok (#4) could be hanging up his skates for good. He has played six seasons with the Idaho Steelheads. During the 2004-2005 season Jeremy missed part of the season due to injury, but for the 2005-2006 season he played full time. While being in the twilight of his career Jeremy still ponders the "hanging up the skates" question in the back of his mind. During games he says that his mind will tell him " Go ahead and do this", but then his body replies with a "Oh no you cant" Jeremey has brought a lot to the Steelheads organization and to the sport of hockey its self. I wish him the best of luck either way. Now I, as do many other fans wish to see Jeremy back for another season, but if that is not the case and 2005-2006 was his last season, well it was a great one. He has not announced his decision yet, but we should know during the beginning of next season.
Jeremey Retired December 9th 2006 during intermission at the game.
Yep Yep, he hung up the skates. His Jersey is not up on the rafters next to cal's, but we are working on that. Miss u #4
Jeremy Mylymok Quotes
“Once in a while you get caught up in the heat of the moment. It was an intense series.”
“It could mean either you've been doing it for a long time, or you're a solid goaltender. He's both. He's been a solid player in this league for a long time. It's just too bad he had to get it against us in our arena.”
“Any time you go to a shootout, it could go either way.”
“There's going to be a nastiness to this series, I'll tell you right now. These two teams don't like each other. There's a lot of different players, but there's still history between the organizations from two years ago.”
